Summary: This is a Wizard of saws.....
Have a very unreliable yard service and with hurricane season approaching
I needed to get lots of tree pruning done in a hurry. My chain saw is difficult to use when up on a ladder so opted to try this.. WOW!! It is so easy and efficient to use that the hardest part of the job was moving the ladder. This is one remarkable product and at a good price worth its weight in gold. I highly recommend it.

Summary: Great saw....lots of vibration
I needed to trim some oak trees in the backyard and didn't want
to wait until my husband could get around to doing it. We have
a chainsaw, but I don't like using it because it's too big for
me to manage.
This saw cut branches very well, except the vibration put a couple
of blisters on my hand. It vibrates a lot when you are cutting through
thicker branches (3" or more). Next time, I'm going to wear gloves
when cutting wood. I've never cut metal or pvc so I don't know if
the vibration is as bad with those. Advise: use work gloves to avoid
blisters! Great saw and very handy!

Summary: Black and Decker Power Handsaw slow cutting.
I purchased the Black and Decker power hand saw to cut up dead limbs and do some light prunning. The saw is very slow and cutting limbs with it was a big disappoint..The saw blade needs to be a more aggressive tooth design and more travel on the blade to saw faster.Even on small limbs very slow, not worth the money.

Summary: could not even put together-
My daughter and I- she can take computers apart, and put them back together, tried to put the blade on and could not, even with tech support- it was impossible and frustrating. We ended up with an earth wise 16 amp. electric chain saw, it was already assembled and ready to go. Gloves and eye protection and it cut small trees like butter- I am a 120 lb. woman (single mom) and had a blast with it! Thank goodness for Amazon's great return policy- but don't get this! It was very disappointing and if I can handle the 16 amp, being a slender unused to power tools mom, which is about $15.00 more buy that!

Summary: The perfect PVC Saw!
While this is a "general purpose" hand saw, it excels at making clean, quick cuts of PVC piping of all sizes.
