Summary: Love it
My Dewalt miter saw fits perfect but that is expected. You just hook the front of the brackets on the rail and rock the saw back and the rear of the bracket snaps in place with the spring loaded rear handles. So it is very easy to mount and unmount the saw to the stand. Once the saw is mounted to the stand is is very secure with no free play. Old reviews said this stand doesn't come with the saw brackets or the hardware to mount the saw to the brackets, well mine did so they must of heard everyone complaining about it. At the same time I saw the price jump up. But that is fine with me to have an out of the box working solution. I've cut 12 and 16 foot 2x4's on this stand it is feels very sturdy. It make a great working platform for measuring and marking off lumber. I thought the price was a bit high but it now seems like money well spent. The fold up feature of this stand makes if fit in a compact space and I love the handle on it for hauling it around. There is nothing flimsy about this stand and the legs snap into an open or closed position. This is why I like Dewalt they aren't the best but you generally get get a good product for your money.

Summary: Happy to Saw You
As a hobbyist and weekend carpenter, I'm very happy with my DeWalt saw stand. It arrived quickly and completely assembled. My (very inexpensive) miter saw fit the included platform without drilling or any modification. Mounting and dismounting the platform and saw to and from the stand is trivial, as is setting up and breaking down the stand. The extensions on each end of the stand are sturdy; I like their rectangular cross-section compared to circular cross-sections on some other stands. One concern is that the plastic knobs which secure the extensions in position are on the very ends of the stand. When you set up or take down the stand, the tendency is to set the stand on end, which means a knob is supporting the weight of the stand. The concern is that, over time, supporting the weight of the stand or, perish the thought, having the knob make hard contact with the floor, will break the plastic knob. We'll see.

Summary: Excellent stand
I have owned several other brand chop saw stands. This Dewalt works great with my 12" Dewalt compound miter. I'ts light weight for the job site and wood shop worthy. I like the quick clips on the saw. The extensions are easy to adjust as well. NICE JOB!!

Summary: Good, but could be better
I'm glad I bought it, but it could be better. Material falls off the supports regularly. I guess I'll have to attach longer tops to the supports. It would be nice if it had fold out extensions so material is less likely to fall off while positioning for cutting. Also, I've had mine about 3 months and it has developed considerable lateral play. Tolerable so long as it doesn't get any worse, but dangerous if it does.
